Items for Class

Thank you for your interest in my dog obedience classes. I have been a trainer in the Solano County for seventeen years. I am well respected by vets, city officials and have many satisfied clients. I have helped many people train their dogs to be good family members, resolved behavior problems and led dogs and their handlers all the way to AKC Obedience competitions.

Your family and friends will notice the difference that training has made to your dog, and you will be proud! I will do everything I can to help you, but time spent training, practicing and playing with your dog will determine your success. Please feel free to call me if you experience any problem during training. Don't be afraid to ask me questions!

I have group classes available weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. Classes are for one hour each week for eight weeks-please plan to attend every class. There will be a 15-20 minute playtime at the beginning of each class. Your dog will love that! Private lessons are available, at your convenience during the weekday. Private in-home training is available at a schedule that is convenient to you.

Each class is filled up as completed applications are received.
Classes cost $160.00 for the eight-week course. NO REFUNDS if you drop out of a class. The cost of the class includes a homework guide. I will call you only if the class becomes full and I need to place you in another class.

For each and every dog in class I MUST have proof of CURRENT NECESSARY vaccinations - three DHLPP and Rabies for puppies. An annual Parvo and Rabies for older dogs. I would also suggest that your dog have the Bordatella Intranasal, because of the class playtime.

No bitches in heat may come to class without wearing some type of panty. If you miss class because your female is in heat, and you choose to not put panties on your female, then I do not offer any make ups, refunds or transfers. For the safety of all the dogs you may not take your female in heat out to play with other dogs before class.

You must contact Francesca, either by email or phone(707-451-9900), BEFORE sending in the Dog Training Application. You must submit your dog's shot record and a personal check with an application to secure a spot in a particular class. Contact Francesca for information about the next current session of classes.

I reserve the right to excuse any dog, which in my opinion may be dangerous to others or myself. If you have a dog that is aggressive to people or dogs, in any way, it will need to be evaluated to determine if it can join a group class. For the safety and comfort of all, please follow these rules while you are in class.

Please do not allow your children to wander around.

Please keep your dog on a leash at all times.

Please close gates behind you every time.

The front gate may be left open when you arrive and leave.
Do not drive or park off the gravel - car have become stuck in the winter.

No smoking anywhere on this property.

Please note that there are no bathroom facilities at the training site; sorry!
PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE OVER 5 MPH ON CYPRESS TRAIL. No Exceptions.

DOGGIE BOOT CAMP

Boot camp is for a one or two week session (i.e. 7 or 14 days)

This program will be fun for your dog. There will be plenty of play, with some training and discipline. Great for people who need a little extra help in getting that wayward puppy/dog under control ! After a session you continue with on-going training. There is limited availability, so reserve your session now. Please contact Francesca to discuss availability, program features and cost.

Stormy's Family
Subject: Mission Impossible: Salvage Stormy

Stormy was sent off to boot camp as a last ditch effort to keep this family member. Her placement was at such high risk because her puppy back-talking had now become a 70 pound disobedient, vicious, biting dog. After a week of camp, Stormy has become a well-mannered family member. Franchesca waved a wand of magic to assess and correct the poor relational patterns between Stormy and her human family members. And, for that we are forever grateful. The results of doggy boot camp were so amazing that we're thinking of sending the three boys next week!
Sincerely, "Stormy's Family"

Private lessons are available during the summer. Contact Francesca 707-451-9900

Directions to Dixon

From Fairfield or Vallejo: Take I-80 east bound. Take the Meridian/Weber exit. Stay straight on Weber. Turn right on Fox. Turn right on Cypress Trail. Go straight, then follow road when it curves right. Turn left at Aussie Avenue. Open the gate, if it is closed. Please stay on the gravel and follow driveway to the barn. Park on gravel, under the trees. Please drive slowly on Cypress Trail. There are several speed bumps. This is a gravel road and driving over 5 mph causes a lot of dust and neighbors get very angry!!

From Benicia: Take 680 north to I-80 east. Travel past Fairfield. When you reach Vacaville follow directions from above.

From Dixon or Davis: Take I-80 west bound. Take Meridian/Weber exit. Turn right on Meridian, then left on Weber. Once on Weber follow directions above.

Items Need for Class

1. One 6-foot leather or nylon leash - ¾ to 1 inch for medium to large dogs; for small dogs, ¼ to 5/8 inch leash.

2. One tight-link-training collar (choke chain). The collar should be no more than 2-3 inches larger than the dog's neck. Most good pet supply stores will let you bring the dog into the store and help you get the right size.

3. After the third class I will ask you to bring treats for your dog.

If you have any questions about any of these items, please call me. Francesca: 707-451-9900
